FORMULATION and PRODUCTION of bioplastic compounds
Founded in 2011, SeaBird has more than 10 years of expertise in compostable bioplastics.
Located in France near the Atlantic Ocean, SeaBird was at first a design and development office focused on developing eco-designed materials for activities in link with the marine environment, such as shellfish farming (oyster or mussel farming for example), aquaculture, fishing, and coastal geotextiles.
In answer to the pollution generated by conventional plastics, especially in the marine environment, SeaBird provides alternatives in biobased bioplastics which offer biodegradability and compostability as an end of life.

Our team is resolutely focused on reducing plastic pollution and preserving marine spaces. Designed from biopolymers (PLA, PBS, PBAT, PCL, PHA, …) our compounds used for the manufacture of fishing nets, textiles, packaging, and many more applications. They do not contain harmful additives such as phthalates, endocrine disruptors, flame retardants,…
